English Adventure Ltd. (“English Adventure”) provides English learning and practice tools. Here at English Adventure we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.

We highly respect your privacy and take special measures to ensure that any personal information collected by us is used solely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Your personal information will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please note that your use of our Services is also subject to the Terms of Use.

We kindly require that you read this Privacy Policy and encourage you to raise any questions with us. English Adventure may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to review and accept the latest version of the Privacy Policy.

COLLECTED INFORMATION AND USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

In order to access our Services you will be required to provide personal information.

We collect information mainly for the following reasons:

  • Checking if a customer is entitled to receive the Services;
  • Provide you with features offered by the Services;
  • Internal record keeping and statistical analysis;
  • Keeping in touch with our customers;
  • Improving marketing and promotional efforts.

Collected information may include (without limitation) the following:

  • Name;
  • ID number;
  • Name and location of the school where you work as a teacher;
  • Contact information including email address and phone number;
  • Information regarding usage of the Services and other relevant information.

You will be specifically required to provide the information that English Adventure collects, except for the Information regarding usage of the Services, which will be collected automatically.

The Services are intended for the use of teachers, and not for the use of children under the age of eighteen years. If you are under eighteen the Services are not for you and you are requested not to use the Services and not to disclose any personal information.

Accessing the Services shall require you to provide a valid e-mail address and additional contact information (the “Contact Information”). We will use the Contact Information to reach out and send you messages, send you communications about your account or about features in our Services (for example: teaching materials and reminders prior to a specific lesson), including periodic updates, other information and offers. We will also use the Contact information for marketing and promotional efforts.

By using the Services you agree to the receipt of advertisement and promotional material from English Adventure, as required pursuant to the provisions of Section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Services), 5742-1982, and no liability and/or obligation shall be imposed on English Adventure as a result of such use of the Contact Information.

By using the Services you agree that your personal information, including the Contact Information, will be used by English Adventure, and you waive any claim regarding a breach of your privacy under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.

SECURITY

As we are committed to protecting the security of your personal information, we use various security technologies and means (administrative, physical and technical) in order to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

However, while we try to use reasonably acceptable means to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized use or access, we cannot guarantee its absolute confidentiality or security.

We ask that you keep login information to our Services a secret, do not share it with third parties and keep it in a secure place. If you suspect your login information has been compromised you should notify us immediately at: [email protected] .

From time to time, we review our security mechanisms. Be aware though that, despite the efforts and resources we are investing, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

CONTROLLING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You can review your personal identifiable information collected by English Adventure at any time, subject to providing a written request to English Adventure.

If you believe that any personal identifiable information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, or if you wish to remove it, please e-mail us as soon as possible, at: [email protected] . We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect or remove the personal identifiable information.

DISCLOSING INFORMATION

English Adventure does not sell or share personal identifiable information with third parties. However we may disclose information for the following reasons: (a) if we are required to do so by law; (b) if we are required to do so in a legal process; (c) if we feel that disclosing information might prevent a crime; (d) in order to protect the rights or property of English Adventure including enforcing the Terms of Use; and (e) as required in order to provide you with technical support.

English Adventure may employ third parties to perform services in connection with the Services, such as database management, maintenance, marketing, data processing and analytics. These third parties have access to your information only to carry out these tasks on our behalf.

GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without giving effect to conflict of the law provisions. Any action arising from or related to this Privacy Policy shall be brought only and exclusively before the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
